Losing your job is scary. One day you have a routine. The next day you're updating your résumé, refreshing LinkedIn, and wondering how you'll pay your bills. I've been there. The uncertainty is real. The fear is real. The questions are real.

Whew! 

Some of us would've stayed another five years simply because it felt safe. We would've ignored the business idea. Ignored the gifts. Ignored the dreams. Ignored the nudges, the signs, etc. Sometimes comfort becomes the very thing keeping us stuck.

So God changes the situation. Not because He's trying to punish you... Because He's trying to position you. (Scary, I know.) 

That Business Idea Isn't New

Think about it. How long have you been saying:

"One day I'll start my business." 

"One day I'll sell my digital products." 

"One day I'll become my own boss." 

"One day I'll help people with what I know." 

That "one day" has probably been following you around for years.  The business idea didn't suddenly appear after you lost your job. It was already there. Now you finally have an opportunity to pay attention to it. 

Before You Apply to Another Job, Ask Yourself This Question

Before you scroll on countless job boards and spending your time and energy apply to jobs...

Ask yourself: What skills have I spent years developing?

Seriously. Think about everything you've learned.

Maybe you:

• Managed projects
• Trained employees
• Coached people
• Solved problems
• Organized systems
• Created presentations
• Helped customers
• Planned events
• Led teams

Those aren't "just job duties." They're business skills. Someone needs what you already know. There are people who are praying for the thing you've learned. 

Your Experience Has Value

One of the biggest mistakes aspiring entrepreneurs make is believing they need to become someone else before they can start. 

You don't. Your experience is your advantage- so you're not actually starting from scratch. Your story is your credibility. Your story can be your brand. Your lessons are valuable. The things you do effortlessly are often the things someone else is willing to pay to learn. 

You Don't Need Permission

You don't need to know everything. Friend, you need clarity. 

Clarity on:

• What business to start
• Who you help
• What problem you solve
• How to package your skills
• How to get your first customers

Once those questions are answered...Everything becomes easier. 

Why Do You Need Clarity

"Why do I need clarity?" I'm glad you asked. 

Because without clarity, you’ll waste time building the wrong thing. You’ll keep changing your business idea.

You’ll create content that doesn’t connect. You’ll spend hours designing logos and websites before you even know who you’re helping. You’ll struggle to make sales because people don’t understand what you do.

Start Small- but Start

Please don't let social media fool you. 

The people you see celebrating huge milestones was once a beginner.
